I just finished writing down some additional ideas for a project that I came up with in April. My brain immediately went into this battle:
Voice: What do you think you’re doing?
Me: I’m making art!
Voice: yes, but people work their entire lives to do what you’re planning.
Me: So?
Voice: Don’t you think that’s a little crazy?
Me: Nope.
Voice: Who do you think you are?
Me: I am the “witnessing presence” that Eckhart Tolle speaks of.
Voice: You really think you can pull this off?
Me: Why not?
Voice: It’s a complicated project, and you haven’t done some of that for 20 years?
Me: Oooh, right.. wow, it’s been 20 years?
Voice: Do you see my point?
Me: Yes, but that challenge is going to make it more fun!!
Voice: Riiiiiighhhht.
Me: It’s going to be EPIC!
Voice: or a humiliating failure!
Me: How did you guess what it was about?
Voice: I’m in your head, remember?!
You want a hint to what’s on the horizon? Maybe this picture will offer a clue:
