On the first part of the journey
I was looking at all the life

My skin had been painted blue
After three days in the desert fun
I was looking at a playa bed
And the story it told of the water that had flowed
Made me sad to think it was dead

It felt good to be out of the pain

After nine days I let the bike run free
cause the desert had turned to sea
There were boats and mermaids and fish and things
There was waves and ice and wings
The ocean is a desert with its life underground
And a perfect disguise above
Under the camp lies a heart made of ground
And the humans will give you love
