Cargo Room

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

I walked by this camper today and surely this has to have been customized for Burning Man. I’ve never seen so many cargo boxes on one vehicle before! I count 10 cargo boxes! there were a couple of bikes and a scooter on the back, sorry I didn’t get a pic. This thing could be loaded up with a massive amount of stuff, and has custom window shutters! Beat X-ing (the giant cone built on a golf car) and the Beat Police.

Beat X-ing and the Beat Police. The giant orange cone which is built upon a golf cart frame, is an art car that Loopy, Douglass, and I and several other camp mates created for Burning Man 2007.

Since the Man burnt at Burning Man last night, I thought I’d take a moment to reflect on it.

I chose not to go to Burning Man this year. I decided to go on this road trip and see some things on my list of things to see and to work on myself and work on some projects that I had wanted to start. the reason i am on this trip

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

so the main reason i have gone on this journey is because in may 1999 i tried to go through yellowstone on my way to seattle. i was on my way to do an internship with microsoft. two of my cousins – keisha and jonetta, pictured below, drove across the country with me. we were stopped because of snow on the road in MAY! the beartooth highway that leads from cody (after chief joseph’s highway ends) to cooke city and the entrance to yellowstone was still closed! DENIED!

If you ever have a chance to see puppies be born and get to pick one out – be careful – you might bring home two.
