One thing I did not expect to find on the way to Sun Valley was sunflowers. The drive from Boise to Sun Valley is mostly high desert mountains with the prairies in between.

The clouds were spectacular yesterday. North of where I camped there were many thunderheads rolling through and at night I could see the lightning light up the sky. Below is the photograph I had stopped to take. It’s a panoramic stitched photograph of 10 separate photos. The photo is of the Sawtooth Range, specifically the range surrounding Sheep Point and Smoky Dome (the taller mountains in the distance). Afterwards I took my dogs and rode down the gravel road on my bike. Well low and behold I found sunflowers!

I am looking for a picture of a field of sunflowers which I can use as a cover for a CD of prayer-songs which I am preparing for a family celebration. Please may I have permission to use some of your pictures. I have een the one which has a lone sunflower. I think I can use that. I would also like to see if you have others which have lots of sunflowers in a field. The CD will be entitled SING OF THE JOY WITHIN and that particular song has a line which goes “Sing of flowers that sway with the wind”.
I hope you can help me by giving me permission to use at least thte picture of the lone sunflower in a field of blue, and possibly other/s which show a field of sunflowers.
I am writing from the Philippines, and I don’t think I can send you any payment. The CD will not be produced for commercial distribution. If you wish, if you allow me to use yourr pictur/s I can send you ac copy of the CD.
I hope to hear from you. God bless you.
